If you already pay Ahrefs for SEO and just want a temperature check on AEO, their addon is fine. If AEO is the actual job-to-be-done, you want a tool built for the job.
Ahrefs is a fantastic SEO platform. Brand Radar was added in late 2024 as a response to AEO becoming a category. It does the basics — ChatGPT and Perplexity mention tracking, some citation extraction. It does not do hallucination detection, content recommendations with reasoning, or white-label PDF for agencies.
